Game 23

The rhymes we sang in a ring

Learnt by heart

A video by Bits N Pieces

The game's question

Sing the opening together; the rest may follow by itself.

Long before the songs on the radio, there were the ones from school and the ones sung at home. Sung in a ring in the playground, learnt by heart, many of them stayed with us. This one starts like this: ‘Twinkle, twinkle, little …’. Little what? Choose the missing word together.

  • Moon
  • Star
  • Bird
Need a hint?

Sing the line out loud and look up: it shines in the night sky, but it is not the moon. Afterwards, let other playground songs come back, one by one.

See the answer
